[Sigkm-l] ASIST 2005 Conference

I have posted a paper for consideration and agreed to be a speaker at the
ASIST 2005.

I have decided to completely disassociate myself from all "KM" related
activities for reasons of professional reputation, so I will regrettebly not
be able to attend the conference and will not publish a paper.

This is not a reflection on the associations or many of the fine
individuals, but the culture of the practice itself, the hype surrounding
the term, and the lack of adoption of advanced systems.

I will no longer support our significant investment in R&D for knowledge
systems over a decade, thereby writing it all off, and regretebly must move
in a different direction where more can be accomplished evidenced by
customer support.
