SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for gathering and documenting users' content requirements, and
translating them into system requirements; developing and maintaining
content architectures and interfaces to facilitate information access and
delivery.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in Library/Information Science or related area. Broad
knowledge of digital technologies, metadata standards, relational database
management systems. Significant web design/development experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Cataloging/indexing/classification experience. Programming skills in Java,
VB or other object oriented languages. Substantial knowledge of
Microsoft/Intel platform and XML.
Hiring Guidelines: $52,400 - $62,500
