Recently, Denice Adkins (University of Missouri), Nicole Cooke (University of Illinois), Rakesh Babu (University of Wisconsin), and I presented a panel on "Addressing Barriers to Engaging with Marginalized Communities: Advancing Research on Information, Communication, and Technologies for Development" at the 80th Annual Meeting of ASIS&T in Washington DC. Several of you could not attend the annual meeting. Hence, I am sharing our panel presentation with you all. I hope several of you would find this information useful for your ongoing and future endeavors with marginalized communities, creating more value for them. You can find more details about this panel in the ASIS&T proceedings. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or comments regarding the attached presentation, or wish to know more about my research with communities in Bangladesh, India, Ethiopia, Kenya, Vietnam, and Tunisia. :) Best, Devendra _____________________________________ Devendra Potnis, PhD Associate Professor School of Information Sciences University of Tennessee at Knoxville Office: +1-865-974-2148 https://www.sis.utk.edu/users/devendra-potnis -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
