Please welcome our newest student members from Brazil!

As part of the agreement for inter-society cooperation between ASIS&T 
and ANCIB, ABECIN, EDIBCIC and ISKO, that was established in November
2006, SIG/III had reserved 2 Infoshare memberships for Latin American
graduate students. Due to calendar constraints, the diffusion of the
call for nominations could not be as broad as expected. A few
nominations were received though for outstanding candidates.

The winners are Andréa Paula Osório Duque, a doctorate student in
Information Science at IBICT/UFF, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Maria 
Jose Vicentini Jorente, a post-graduate student at Sao Paulo State
University, Brazil.
