In the run-up to the WSIS-Tunis, Development Informatics 
Group at the University of Manchester is releasing a 
series of Briefings: very short (one-two page) overviews 
of current evidence and thinking on key issues related to ICTs 
and socio-economic development.

Some are controversial, especially the first one on FOSS that generated a lot of criticism in IT4dev standing electronic conferences.
