[Sigiii-l] Re: SIG III International Reception at Annual Conference

There have been questions regarding when and where to drop items for the SIG III silent auction. 

Please bring items to the conference and drop them at the reception site Monday between 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm.  We would like to have items organized and set up for bidding before the reception.  However, donated items will be accepted during the reception.

> This year’s International Reception will be held on Monday, November 15th, 2004, at 8 pm. Elsevier Publishers has generously offered to contribute $400 to this year’s International Reception. This donation, in connection with the journal Information Processing and Management, is the second gift from Elsevier Publishers this year, followed by their $3000 contribution to this year’s International Paper Contest. Mr. Chris Pringle of Elsevier plans to attend the reception, and there will also be a table available at the reception for ASIST members to browse Elsevier’s publications.  SIG III would like to thank Elsevier for their continuing support and assistance, as they have done in the past several years.

Even if you cannot attend the Annual Meeting this year, you may send items with a colleague who is attending.
