Please also note that in addition to being the Communications Officer of SIG III (which means managing the web site and writing the Newsletter), Yin Zhang is a co-winner of the the Chapter Member of the Year Award (along with Louisa Toot of Los Angeles Chapter) for her work for in the Northern Ohio Chapter. Yin is the Chair Elect of SIG III and will also continue her outstanding work as Communications Officer. Congratulations to Yin for her continued excellent work. Sue OJ

  News Flash!  
  Sue O'Neill Johnson won the SIG Member-of-the-Year Award
  SIG III Website won the SIG Publication-of-the-Year Award

  Sue O'Neill Johnson, SIG III Chair, is the winner of the 2003 SIG 
  Member-of-the-Year Award.   SIG III has been a winner of the ASIST 
  SIG-of-Year Award for the past three years in a row (2000-2002) while 
  Sue played a leadership role in the group as its Chair in 1999-2000, 
  Past Chair 2000-2001, and Chair Elect 2001-2002. Under Sue's 
  leadership, SIG III has initiated many new programs, such as 
  International Paper Contest and International Travel Grants, to name 
  a few.  Congratulations, Sue, on the well-deserved award! 

  SIG III Website (http://www.asis.org/SIG/SIGIII/) is the winner of 
  the SIG Publication-of-the-Year Award.  The award is to recognize the 
  best publication produced by a SIG during the previous year.
