[Sigiii-l] InfoShare Trainee for 2003-2004 Board

Hello SIG III members,
     We have a very good program, InfoShare which was started by SIG III to give one year memberships to information professionals in developing countries. Money is raised primarily at the International Reception, when we sell silent auction items and raffle tickets. Suzanne Stemler has been managing InfoShare for three years, and likes it so well she will be serving one more year. However, we are looking for a trainee to work with Suzanne (virtually most of the time), so that she can hand over the program to that person at the Annual meeting in 2004. This person should be someone who can come to the Annual Conferences, as that is when we do almost all of our fund raising for InfoShare.

     Being on the SIG III Board is fun. We have a lot of people and work on a lot of interesting projects, especially focused on information professionals in developing countries.  If you like to see results, this is a good activity for you.
