> The application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) plays an important role in the effective attainment, generation, utilization and distribution of knowledge. Of particular importance is also the technologies to acquire and generate knowledge such as knowledge discovery and data mining. Issues pertaining to the security, integrity and sustainability of such systems has also to be dealt with.
