[Sigiii-l] International contributions at the 2003 Annual Meeting

Dear SIG/III friends

I just get the preliminary program printed version.
If I am not mistaken, we have
- 43 Panel or special sessions, of which 16 have international
contributors from 17 countries
- 17 contributed papers sessions of which 11 have international
contributors from 9 countries
- 22 posters 5 of which presented by colleagues from 4 countries.
In total colleagues from 20 different countries (8 in Europe, 5 in the
Americas, 5 in Asia & Pacific, 2 in Africa) are expected to present.

This is a praise worthy achievement. Congratulations to all those who
contributed to it one way or another.

If not jeopardized by visas delivery and other travellers' burdens,
the 2003 Annual Meeting will be a very international one.
