20 FUNDED RESEARCH STUDENTSHIPS

The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen invites applications from outstanding graduates with First Class or 2.1 Honours degrees to undertake research for the degree of MPhil or PhD.  Opportunities are available across the University, which has three Faculties.  The Faculty of Health and Social Care, which specialises in the healthcare professions, nutrition, dietetics, pharmacy and life sciences; the Faculty of Design and Technology, which specialises in visual art and design, architecture and the built environment, computing, IT and engineering; and the Faculty of Management, which specialises in business and commerce, hospitality and tourism, marketing, public administration and law, and media and information studies.  

The University wishes to recruit research students to all Faculties.  Applicants should give a short statement of their particular area of interest and give an indication of their reasons for wishing to undertake further study for a research degree.  

The studentships include UK/EU tuition fees and a tax-free stipend of £8000 per annum to cover living costs.
