The ASIS&T Leadership Committee is excited to host the first of three leadership webinars on April 26, 2018.

PRACTICAL ISSUES FOR ASIS&T LEADERS: MONEY, MEMBERS, & COMMUNICATING FOR SUCCESS

Speaker: Jeremy L. McLaughlin, Chair, ASIS&T Leadership Committee

April 26, 2018 at 1:00 PM Eastern/10:00 AM Pacific

As ASIS&T leaders look towards the end of the current year and planning for the fall, we face similar challenges and ask the same questions related to the health of our individual groups. This session will focus on the practical issues related to ASIS&T groups by helping current and future leaders with prioritizing, planning, and answering the following questions:

---How much money does my group have?

---How can we make and spend money?

              ---Who are our current members?

---How do we plan and host a webinar?

---What are these new ASIS&T Community sites?

If you have asked any of these questions, or have leaders in your group who may, then this Leadership Committee webinar is for you!

As the first of three Leadership webinars planned for 2018, this session will be beneficial for all leaders within the Association. We will cover a number of existing and new policies and procedures related to identification of, and outreach to, membership, planning and hosting events, managing budgets, and spending funds. In addition to practical issues, we will build on the discussions started in Crystal City around best practices within different ASIS&T groups (SIGS, Chapters, and Student Chapters).

The second session will be held in early August and will re-introduce these practical issues and expand on planning and project development for New Leaders and other leaders across the Association. The third session will be in October and will be related to the Leadership Development Session at the 2018 Annual Meeting.

Registration is open and free for all ASIS&T members.

We look forward to seeing you on April 26!
