Hello Members!

our annual planning meeting is scheduled for 3:00-4:00 p.m. on Monday
October 22, 2007, in the Gilpatrick C Room.

For anyone who is interested, our networking dinner will follow that evening (I know there are other events, but every evening appears to present a conflict of some sort).

LET'S MEET IN THE HOTEL LOBBY AT 6:00 P.M. ON MONDAY AND WE CAN DECIDE WHERE/WHAT TO GO/DO AT THAT TIME.

Here again are a few options (all are vegetarian friendly):

Buca di Beppo servers individual and family style southern Italian food,
though a chain everything is made from scratch and it's a fun place for a
group (about 8-10 blocks from hotel, but I can drive me plus 4 others).
Buca di Beppo Milwaukee, 1233 North Van Buren Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202,
414-224-8672

Water Street Brewery makes great beer and serves a variety of food (or we
can do dinner at the first place and a beer after) (about 3-4 blocks from
the Hyatt)?
1101 N. Water Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202, (414) 272-1195

Another option is Eagan's on Water (seafood and a bit of everything else, and did I mention
the best back bar in town, great night-cap alternative to the hotel
bar) (2-3 blocks from the hotel, and on the way to Water Street Brewery).
1030 N Water St, Milwaukee, WI 53202, (414) 271-6900

Other options are avilable, for example the best German place in town is
w/in 4-5 blocks walk of hotel but closed on Sunday
Karl Ratzsch's
320 East Mason Street
Milwaukee, WI 53202
(414) 276-2720

Cathedral Square area has a number of places for drinks or dinner and is also a close walk (6-8 blocks)

or I am happy to drive a small group elsewhere,

for example, one of the top rated places in town is Lake Park Bistro, a bit
more elegant, superb food/service, James Beard Chef Nominee, Wine Spectator
award winner, on the bluffs overlooking Lake Michigan in a park-like
setting.

Looking forward to seeing you there.
