You're a detail oriented, pixel-aware, design-o-phile, interaction expert,
dedicated to driving responsive principles across a multi-platform context.
You're a born collaborator, eager to work side-by-side with high performance
multidisciplinary designers, product managers, researchers and technologists
exploring the limits of audio content discovery, subscription and
consumption experiences. An online portfolio is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design end-to-end workflows for Android and iOS phones using
industry-standard tools.
* Come up with creative solutions to ambiguous problems in education domain.
* Design systems with seamless patterns, interactions and navigation scheme.
* Collaborate with UX research and testing to identify the gaps and fill
them with simple solutions based on users' needs.
* Collaborate with Visual Design, Product Management and Development teams
for smooth implementation of workflows.
* Communicate designs to other stakeholders effectively.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
* 3-5 years as a product UX / Interaction designer having worked on
educational, social, messaging or similar apps.
* An undergrad/grad degree in the field of User Experience design from a
premier university.
* Fluency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks, Omnigraffle and
similar tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Some background in building education products.
* Designing for Asian markets.
* Familiarity with interactive prototyping tools (proto.io, invision, HTML,
CSS).
* Familiarity with motion design and related tools (Flash, AfterEffects).
