Calling User Experience Managers!

If you are at management level, looking to work in a sought after
environment then this opportunity will be right up your street. My client is
looking for someone to work with a team of UX managers, Head of UX and other
multi-disciplinary team members to improve/manage their online gambling
products.

You will be managing the UCD projects from initiation to completion. In this
role you will be required to actually use your mind! Because you are
involved in translating the stakeholders requirements into a design concept
it means you avoid being stuck just designing wireframes from specs that
have already been agreed without your input.

The client is a gambling company who is one of the largest in Europe. The
benefit here is that there is continuous investment in developing online
products that generate revenue. You are designing within an environment
where you are pushing design boundaries within technological constraints.
You will not be stuck just working on web related products. You will be
involved in designing/managing products across various platforms including
tablet and mobile devices.

The disadvantage to working client –side in some cases is that people
complain that have to battle with product owners to invest in UX. My client
is the opposite. The team embraces User Centred Design. Therefore, the UX
contribution is not a separate deliverable in a wider project; it is a
central component within the design strategy from the project start. I am
sure this will satisfy many of you...

More specifically my client is looking for someone who has honed their
skills in an online commercial B2C environment. Having experience working
across consumer-facing products is a real must! You must have gravitas in
that you are able to interface directly with stakeholders with confidence.
You must be able to present your design ideas clearly.

It is vital that you have a commercial mindset. Your passion is to
understand what motivates and drives consumer behaviour and developing
design ideas which will increase conversation across all aspects of the
digital websites/applications. It is a plus if you can present your initial
design deliverables using Visio. They expect to see someone with at least 5
years experience who is educated to at least Bachelors, ideally with degree
in HCI.

If you feel it is about time that your mind was set free to think laterally
about design and how to persuade customers whilst working with a fine team
of UX consultants, Product Managers, Developers and Analyst to produce
industry leading products; then look no further and apply to me at
