[Sigia-l] How do you measure success?

You have to measure the success of your user experience against the
objectives its trying to achieve, KPIs (Key Process Indicators) are one
way of doing this, however, by their nature they are 'outcome' measures -
they can tell you *if* your experience is succeeding or failing, but not
*why*. For that you need to look at the 'driver' measures - typically much
lower level measurses more specific to your experience.

I just spoke about this at the MX conference and will be speaking again at
the IA Summit: http://is.gd/flvxzb

The deck from MX isn't on slideshare yet, but it will be soon and Adaptive
Path will be making the video available. In the mean-time, you might find
the presentation that I did last year at MX and the Summit interesting as
it covers the same topic from a higher level, http://is.gd/skeTiK
