I'd initially assumed we were referring to things like Versign, Geotrust (ie
SSL certificate vendors), and maybe ISO9001, or TUV (

Jared seems to be referring to other things. It might help to make sure
we're not misunderstanding, because I've got a report here from research
completed a month ago for me (lab tests observing 96 users in 5 countries
using the same website) that shows roughly the opposite of what he's saying,
so I suspect something is up.
