The User Interface Designer will be the IT
    liaison with Product Management and Marketing for User Experience
    design.  This position will be responsible for understanding industry
    standards and best practices and will work with PM team to create a better
    customer user experience.  This will include developing GUI
    design, prototypes, wireframes, design specifications, design goals,
    information architecture, user research. 
    This position will then work with the Architecture team to implement
    development standards in this area and enhance our product set.
 
    
  
 
    
Main Tasks/Responsibilities: 
 
    
·    Lead the design effort from conceptualization through
    implementation including translating user requirements into highly usable
    web applications in partnership with product management and application
    development.
 
    
·    Design wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively
    communicate the user experience of features to internal stakeholders and
    project team members
 
    
·    Produce high quality GUI elements and ensure aesthetic
    quality of interfaces
 
    
·    Create, document, and evangelize new user interface
    guidelines, libraries, and standards
 
    
·    Ensure a consistent look and feel, and experience across the
    applications
 
    
·    Support the development of our user interface for customer
    facing systems
 
    
·    Contribute to a consistently high standard of user-centered
    design across products
 
    
·    Perform other tasks as directed and assigned
 
    
 
 
    
Experience:
 
    
·    Minimum
    two years of professional user interface design experience
 
    
·    Proven
    track record in user interface design from development through delivery
 
    
·    Demonstrated
    a thorough understanding of UI/UX principles, industry standards and best
    practices.
 
    
·    Bachelor’s
    degree in computer science or equivalent
 
    
·    Expertise
    with HTML5, and CSS3 is required
 
    
·    Some
    JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, and other Front End Libraries is a plus
 
    
·    Experience
    developing workflows with Visio
 
    
·    Expertise
    with Photoshop and Illustrator is  preferred
 
    
·    Working
    knowledge of Flash and/or Silverlight is a plus
 
    
·    Strong
    overall design and implementation skills 
 
    
·    Excellent
    communication skills
