My gmail account was compromised over the weekend, sorry about that. I've
been staying in a hotel and they must have intercepted my password there.

FYI -- here's how I fixed it:
In Gmail settings:
1. turn on https
2. change my password
3. check the filters to make sure there's no rogue auto-replies
