Since just about any web site of any note uses some kind of CMS (at
least, by "CMS" I assume you mean "not hand-crafted using Notepad or
something"), we may as well start with the inevitable:

then

followed by
http://www.dailycandy.com/
and possibly
http://www.bbc.co.uk/
and let's not forget
http://www.uniqlo.com
and so on.
On a rather tangential note, I have it on good authority that until
about 1997, yahoo.co.uk used to FTP individually hand-crafted HTML files
(edited using HomeSite) directly to their live servers in the States. It
was neither beautiful nor functional though.
