Not really. It's not much of a myth, and the challenge for interface &  
software designers is to come up with interfaces and tools that take  
advantage of the new mode of interaction.

There's a big difference between the traditional use of vertical  
surfaces (i.e. whiteboard & chalkboards) which is, essentially,  
intermittent & the way the interaction with wall based computers has  
been demonstrated. A few minutes of intense activity might be  
possible, but 15 to 20 minutes of it and your arms will be tired.

Touch-wall interfaces tend to be demonstrated as stand alone wall,  
when in reality they will probably be combined with other tools  
(perhaps even - gasp - a keyboard.)
