integration and implementation of social media into their online
capabilities. My client, located in the amazing and diverse city of Columbus
Ohio is seeking an Associate Vice president of Social Media as part of a
greater significant expansion and investment in their highly funded Internet
organization. 
They seek someone with 5+ years of internet experience and product
development. You must possess experience with social networking concepts and
websites including Web 2.0 capabilities. Please also have experience with
the following: 
. Defining and executing new trends in social networks, specifically:
community, real-time communications, blogging, podcasts, online contests and
other sources of viral distribution. 
. Creating an online environment that allows sharing through profiles, blogs
and friends. 
. Generating new ideas when it comes to internet technology. 
. Understanding online target audiences' needs, tasks, and goals and
translating them into creative concepts. 
. Gather internet requirements for new social networking initiatives for
company. 
. Responsible for tracking, measuring and analyzing social media performance
against goals. 
. Development of business and user cases. 
. Concept development and testing. 
. Facilitate with producers, designers and technologists to execute on the
product vision. 
. Represent the team at all levels of the organization as an expert on web
based video. 
. Familiarity with internet technologies such as web development languages
and web content management systems. 

The ideal candidate will have direct experience executing brand, marketing,
or retention strategies in creative and intelligent ways with major social
networking sites (e.g,. LinkedIn, MySpace, Blogger) and/or major Internet
content providers (e.g, Google, Yahoo, MSN, CBS Interactive, and NBC
Universal). 

This is a thought leadership and strategic role with less than 2 direct
reports. The position works collaboratively with multiple groups across the
company.
