Sure, but I think Louise's point (and the one I agree with) is that that 
preference is driven by the specific tool your using. If the tool makes 
is hard to use multi-word tags, users are likely to "prefer" single word 
tags.

An analogy would be to suggest that most Ford Model T owners preferred 
the car in black. That is was the only option certainly had something to 
do with the preference.
