[Sigia-l] Any guidelines/design patterns etc.. on when a downloadable format ( such as pdf/word/ppt) is appropriate compared to creating a webpage?

My proof comes from lots of experience. That convinces my clients, but I
know it won't convince yours.

The idea of embedding FAQs in a downloadable seems bad to me. The user
situation when looking at an FAQ is 'I have a question and hope to hell
this thing answers it'. Which means they want it in their face, on the
screen.

But as Andrew said, this particular example would be fairly easy to
prototype and walk through (or test ;)
