That was great, and extremely timely for me since I was just pondering how
to plan a site map with SEO in mind.

Does anyone else have SEO best practices that relate to the structure of a
site? I feel like I have a good handle on the usual SEO methods (using HTML
text instead of images; including alt tags, etc.) But I only know of a
couple best practices that relate to site structure.

1. Keep pages as close to the root directory as possible
2. When relevant, create landing pages that speak to important search
keywords for your site
3. This latest tip about using sub-categories to mitigate the linking
problem caused by pagination

Does anyone have more advice?

Jeff
