So how do you feel about it?

That's all very good but the title is "People's Design Awards" not "People's
Great Design Awards."
> There are a lot of places where democracy is a really bad thing: design,
> music, food, art, literature, and politics are just a few.
That's all? :-)
If you are serious about this though I'd love to know what you'd do about
it:
Would you ban the production or the consumption of 'people-instigated'
design?
How old would you have to be to define 'great design'?
If you (as the definer) make a mistake, would there be any punishments?
How many such strikes do you get before you're no longer allowed to judge
'great design'?
Would you tax 'less-then-great design' consumption higher?
How much would it cost to get a 'great design definer' certificate?
Can you accidentally produce 'great design'?
Inquiring minds want to know.

It depends.
If it didn't, you'd be out of a job.
