Hi,

[I realize this is an announcement of a local event sent to a worldwide audience. Still, it is probably the best way to reach people that don't know about the local group yet, as well as those from elsewhere that just happen to be around at the right time. So, here we go:]

November 28: Show & Tell - Amsterdam UX Cocktail Hour at ChunkID

On Wednesday, November 28, ChunkID (http://www.chunkid.nl) will be the host of another UX Cocktail Hour in downtown Amsterdam ("organized since 2001"). The evening will be centered around a Show & Tell session: Everyone can bring a deliverable, share it with the group and explain it to the audience (the exact format will be explained at the event). Paper, digital and physical artifacts are all welcome and will be thrown in the mix.

As usual, there will be room for drinks, snacks, gossip and networking. Also, Frank Rosenhart, Interaction Director of ChunkID,
will tell a little bit about what his company does, and I will kick the evening off with some announcements.

If you are thinking about attending the evening, I suggest you start thinking now about which deliverable you are either really proud of or really unsure of, or any work product you would like to show to others and receive feedback on. And don't forget to bring it to the event...

As for future events: TomTom and Philips are all but fighting over who gets to organize the New Year's event. If you want to host an evening in the 3rd week of December (Dec 17-22), let me know.
