That coin has two sides: yes, precision mouse movements is an issue with
smaller screens. But if you look at the scaling factor, say, a 45 degree
lateral movement executed by your wrist (resting comfortably on a flat
surface, presumably) translates into a huge distance across a large
wall-mounted display that your arms will now have to cover. Of course, this
may or may not be an issue if UI conventions change as a result of designers
adopting different paradigms for larger, direct-manipulation screens.
