In a case of 'form dictates meaning', hexagon has only six sides so any
additional candidate would just screw up the aesthetics. (I'm not sure what
they mean so I can't really speak to the purpose.) Before I give up the
ghost, I'm determined to figure out homo sapiens' fascination with Venn
diagrams.
