It's you. You probably still remember how to spell "its," "their," "you're"
etc. :-)

A lot of the mid-layers of the recruitment industry for technology has been
taken over by outsourcing firms of foreign origin, their subsidiaries or
companies here that work closely with them. So their technical domain
knowledge may in fact be higher but their communications skills are a level
down. Also below the VP/director/manager level positions are now handled by
junior staff.
