[Sigia-l] Twitting yet?

It's interesting that this thread has yet to mention Facebook as a
service which was pretty good at providing ambient intimacy before
Twitter came along.
I believe Facebook provides similar SMS alert capabilities as Twitter,
and many people I know use FB's Wall and Status features to broadcast
the same "here's what I'm doing now" sort of updates to their network.
