Surely.

A short time ago, I was at a dinner gathering at the TriBeCa/NYC triplex of
an architect. The wife and husband went on and on about the need to change,
sustainability, impending doom, re-designing the world, etc. Al Gore's name
was invoked countless times, as you can imagine.

I looked around for that "balance." I couldn't find it in the huge Jacuzzi
covered with a skylight or the fabulous custom made stainless steel kitchen
or even the bamboo flooring. The couple told us that they just sold the pad
for very close to $5 million that week, at what I suppose was sustainable
profit.

My current interest is the *rhetoric* of 'sustainable design.'
