[Sigia-l] Facetted Browsing Discovery Tools from the 1980's

Steve Pollitt's work with view based systems was a classic example of
early faceted browse in the 1980s (one of the better known
implementations was Hibrowse for Embase). He and his team worked
through CeDar at the Polytechnic of Huddersfield .

company View-based systems. Very interested to discuss this further
offline, as I have a good grasp of this area (early faceted systems)
and am preparing a detailed literature review in this area for the
