The BOK promulgated for PMs by the PMI has effectively stifled innovation in PM methodology and made PMs into interchangeable parts producing interchangeable deliverables.  So, if that's what you want for UX, go for it.

OK so to play devil's advocate, what about a BOK (Body of Knowledge) such as those that are being developed for the BA profession and have been developed for the PM profession?
