[Sigia-l] Nielsen: Designers 99% explosive

I often mention JN and 'usability tax' and get a lot of flak for it. Fair
enough, part of the discussion.

So I was amused by the bizarre language Jakob Nielsen resorts to in his
latest pat on his own back:

"designers have learned to be less abusive"

"History shows that the enemies of usability never give up"

"One of the enemies' most insidious arguments"

"current designers' restraint are like unexploded bombs -- they can go off
at any minute if future designers forego restraint"

Etc.

As a designer, are you feeling like a suicide bomber today? As a usability
practitioner, do you strip search designers?

What's up with that?
