Yes, but implicit in that is the fact that without having learned UCD101
they would go off on their own and *create* products/services without the
benefit of design. That may explain the current status quo but that's hardly
ideal or worthy of advocacy: engineers, programmers, managers, etc should
*never* design products on their own. UCD101 is only a band-aid. Let's try
to cure the fundamental problem: giving Design a primary and strategic role
which should reduce development to construction/implementation/production.
