I'm inclined to agree with Jonathan's conclusions.  The new CNN is very stripped
back.  I don't strictly have a problem with it, but it does look a bit like they
used the wireframes for the design.

Like I said on Canberra IA, I firmly believe that the ABC is one of the few
Australian government bodies that gets the web and social computing.  They are
generally really good at design and user engagement.
