SpeechCycle - Voice Interaction Designer

motivated Interaction Designers to join our Voice Interaction design team to
help create automated interactive agents. The right candidates have a solid
background in building and deploying customer-facing applications with
complex process flows and enjoy working in a collaborative and
results-driven environment.

Responsibilities:
·   Work with senior voice interaction designers, product managers and
clients to understand business processes and procedures.
·   Create sample dialogs and product function descriptions.
·   Design and implement call flows using SpeechCycle's graphical authoring
tool that enables the interaction designer to design, test and deploy voice
self-service applications quickly and efficiently.
·   Create a high quality caller experience using natural language
understanding, mixed initiative and directed dialogs.
·   Work with SpeechCycle's speech scientists to write and tune grammars.
·   Work with analysts and speech engineers to identify and predict
performance and quality improvements to call flows by analyzing data and
call audio recordings
·   Work with product managers and engineers to define requirements for
enhancing SpeechCycle's design tools.
·   Follow and contribute to SpeechCycle's voice interaction best practices.

Required Experience/Skills:
·   Experience with interaction design and implementation.
·   Experience with analysis, design and deployment of customer-facing
self-service applications.
·   Experience using rapid application design tools.
·   Skilled in Microsoft Visio or equivalent graphical design tool.
·   Strong written and verbal communication skills.
·   Strong analytical skills.
·   Ability to work in a fast-paced and results-focused environment.
·   Team player who welcomes feedback on his/her work.
·   Strong work ethic: committed to meeting and exceeding expectations.
·   Bachelor¹s degree or equivalent experience.
·   Speech recognition experience is not necessary.

Desired Experience/Skills:
·   Experience with Nuance/Scansoft speech platform and analytical tools
(OSI). 
·   Experience writing speech grammars.
·   Experience in creating voice applications for consumers.
·   Experience designing and conducting customer usability studies.
