Perhaps. But human nature tells a different story. For an example, look no
further than our political system. Sure, if politicians had a 'commitment to
ethical practice' PACs, lobbyists and institutionalized bribery wouldn't be
a problem, but given the 'architecture' of that system they most certainly
are: it makes it easy and even necessary, at our expense.
