JOB:  Interaction Design & Usability - Contract Project - NYC

The successful candidate will be expected to have excellent analytical
skills and be able to develop user interface designs, create prototypes, as
well as designing and conduct usability evaluations. Experience with
user-centered design methodology is a must. 

Responsibilities include working within a team of business analysts, project
managers and developers to define our applications UI. Translating user and
business requirements into detailed user interface designs is crucial.
Candidate will build low fidelity and high fidelity prototypes. The person
will discuss and present prototypes to the business stakeholders and the
technology teams; carryout usability testing or other types of end-user
studies. Write detailed user interface design specifications and assist in
the development of user interface design standards 

Qualifications:
·          A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing user interfaces
for web and windows applications.
·          Excellent prototyping skills and user interface design skills. 
·          Excellent understanding and experience in implementing
user-centered design methods and practices. 
·          Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills 
·          Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors
Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field is a plus.
·          Excellent Knowledge of DHTML, XHTML, XML, and XSLT. 
·          Experience with workforce management, timekeeping, or CRM systems
a plus.
