What I'm "selling" is my own frailty.

Try as I do to listen careful to users, managers, all involved ... I
don't get it quite right. In little but often important ways, my
screens, or my site, will be "off". (Sometimes in big ways, but I
don't emphasize that!)

User testing, as part of an iterative process, keeps me honest and
insures that the result will work.
