Has anyone replied to this yet?

In looking at the collection, I now think I know what
should be on the first screenful of a 404 page:

1) prominent text: 404
2) prominent text: "Page not found" or "Not found"

Because people must be able to tell IMMEDIATELY that they're
on an error page.

3) some links to get people back into the site (or else
you could lose that visitor)

The absence of these discounts most of the 404 pages
in the collection.
