You must be referring to the non-Apple remotes. :-)

That actually brings up another related issue. If people do not use the
entire gamut of functionalities offered by a product does that mean it's a
failure? For example, I have no idea what many of the buttons on my various
remotes do. But the 4-5 buttons that I actually use get me through. Is this
a success? Many ATMs offer many more banking/brokerage functions than just
transfers and money I/O, but most users don't even bother. What do we make
of it, are ATMs a failure?
