[Sigia-l] SIG-IA group on Facebook - do or die?

Is there anyone who thinks the SIG-IG group on Facebook
should be kept?

It now has 62 members but there's been no recent activity
besides event ads.

As its creator, I'm inclined to tidy-up an inactive group
and remove it.

Here's what I posted on group wall on the 16th - there's
been no response yet!

| Well, it's been a nearly month and no activity in this
| group. I've noticed that my friends have left most of
| the groups they joined initially - FB doesn't make it
| easy to keep up-to-date with groups without re-visiting them.
|
| So, unless anyone objects, I'll remove this group in
| a week (23rd August). Mailing lists and Usenet groups
| are a better way to keep in touch.

Or, it turns out, as the only admin, I can leave the
group and the others will get offered admin status.
