Not a very helpful comment I know, but I'd prefer to stick to the term
"design examples" here to clear the air. 

The many and various definitions of what is and what is not a "pattern"
distract me from the main thing that I find useful: having access to
examples.

Keep 'em coming Paola - just don't answer the question behind Ziya's
question :-)
