*Senior Interaction Designer*
Having access to the right information at the right moment makes all
the difference to a retailer monitoring inventory, a delivery person
tracking a package, and a nurse following a patient's progress.
Motorola Enterprise Mobility is looking for a senior interaction
designer to join our Innovation & Design team. The right candidate
will have the drive to design the overall customer experience across
hardware and software products and systems.

Innovation & Design is an integrated team of industrial designers,
interaction designers, design researchers, human factors engineers,
and mechanical, electrical and software engineers. We're responsible
for improving existing products, developing new ones and identifying
future opportunities for the company.

As a senior interaction designer, you will work on a variety of
projects, including rich web applications, desktop apps, embedded
apps, and hardware interfaces. Your focus will be split, about 70:30,
between updating existing products, and identifying and designing
future concepts.

*Required Skills*
- A successful candidate must have a degree in a relevant field
- Broad and flexible skills in interaction design, user interface
design and design research
-Experience working on some combinations of web and desktop
applications, embedded applications and/or hardware interfaces
- The ability to aggregate insights from design research, marketing,
engineering and other sources into actionable design concepts and
solutions
- Proven experience with design methodologies and tools, such as
observational research, rapid-prototyping, screen-flow and user
interaction specification
- Excellent writing, speaking and presentation skills

*Location*
Motorola Enterprise Mobility is located in Holtsville, New York on
Eastern Long Island. This position is eligible for splitting the work
week between the Holtsville corporate headquarters and a Manhattan
satellite design office.

Various levels of experience may apply. Contact David Malouf,
