That is an easy one Ziya... history evaluates the work of the usability 
professionals. If they drop the ball, everyone knows about it - after 
the product/site/application is released. Hopefully there is enough of a 
feedback loop that this history is captured adequately and they are 
showered with praise, or, if they have screwed up, with something else 
:) Only through thorough analysis will the few that get it right be 
rewarded, and the rest, well, you can probably guess if you have read 
Nietzsche or Darwin :) In this manner, the usability professionals that 
survive long enough to breed (i.e. pass on the memes) will be somewhat 
worthy of that status. For the rest, well, there is always tech writing 
or government work :)
