Ziya, it is clear that you and I think differently about professions.
I'm an eternal internal who is cultured in definitions and boundaires.
You are an enternal external who doesn't understand why anyone every
needs to be internal (I think that's what you said in a past thread
where we've engaged about a year ago).

For me a designer is someone who is trained in or understands the
formal studio training that has defined design education for better
part of the last 75 years. yes it has transformed, but studio is at
the heart of that training and education. It is what makes a designer
a designer.

IAs have traditionally come from a background that combines CS and LIS
disciplines, where the solutions that designers and IAs work on have
deep overlap, but their traditional methods and practices are pretty
different.

As I've recently posited in a class
Design as a noun has too many meanings to be useful
Design as a verb as well
But the term exists and I'm here to reclaim it.

Design is != creation
Just b/c you create doesn't mean you do design (n; discipline) or
design (v; practice of n).
