If you live in the Boston area, please consider attending the next meeting
of Boston-IA on November 1 at Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts.
HiSoftware, creators of "Cynthia Says", will be speaking about how to use
automated testing as part of a strategy to make web sites more accessible to
people with disabilities.  A free book on web accessibility will be given to
everyone who pre-registers for the meeting.  Details are provided below.

BOSTON-IA MEETING, November 1, 2006:

On November 1, you are invited to attend the next meeting of Boston-IA
(www.Boston-IA.org), an organization "Bringing Information Architecture and
Internet Accessibility Together."  Boston-IA will present Dana Louise
Simberkoff of HiSoftware (www.HiSoftware.com) on "Incorporating Automated
Testing into Your Web Accessibility Strategy".

HiSoftware is creator of the Cynthia Says accessibility page testing portal
(www.CynthiaSays.com) and other accessibility products, including
AccMonitor, AccVerify, and Hi-Caption.  Dana's presentation will discuss the
challenges of developing an accessibility compliancy program within an
organization, with particular focus on Web Accessibility.

All pre-registered participants will receive a complimentary copy of
"Understanding Accessibility: A Guide to Achieving Compliance on Web Sites
and Intranets", a comprehensive reference on Web Accessibility, by Robert B.
Yonaitis.

The meeting will take place at Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts,
from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.  Light refreshments will be served.  The cost of the
meeting is $25.  You can pay when you arrive at the meeting by cash, check,
or business check made payable to "Boston-IA".  Join Boston-IA at the
meeting and attend for free.  You can also attend the meeting as a guest of
a specific Boston-IA member and only pay $15.

BOSTON-IA MEMBERSHIP:

Boston-IA meetings are free for Boston-IA members.  Annual membership is
