I work somewhere where the owner's brother does SEO. My take on SEO  
(and my take on Nielsen's comments): it's not where you start, it's  
where you finish. Build goo content and make it easy to use, and  
you're well on your way to a highly optimized site.

Of course, my take on SEO is readily google-able.
